My review

★★★★★ (5/5)

This is one of the most well-known personal development books.

The book introduces seven principles, or “habits”, that aim to help people develop a more intentional and balanced way of living and working. Rather than focusing only on productivity or success in a professional context, the author emphasizes the importance of character, responsibility, and long-term thinking.

What I appreciated most about this book is how applicable its ideas are not only to professional life but also to everyday personal situations. Many of the concepts encourage self-awareness, better communication, and a more thoughtful way of approaching relationships and responsibilities.

Another aspect I really liked is the way the book is structured. The habits are introduced gradually and explained clearly, which makes it easier to follow along and reflect on each idea step by step. This structure helps the reader understand how the habits connect and build on one another.

I found this book very insightful and valuable. It’s one of those reads where you can take away several practical ideas and perspectives that can be applied to different areas of life.

For anyone interested in personal development or looking for ways to approach work and life more intentionally, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is definitely worth reading.
