My review

★★☆☆☆ (2/5)

The story features a romance hotline host, Aiden, and a single mom, Lucie, who is thrust into the spotlight after her daughter calls the show for advice. It's a slow-burning romance, with plenty of pining and tension.

I picked up this book because everyone on bookstagram was reading it, and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. Plus, all the reviews were so positive! So, I'm sorry to disappoint, but this was a no for me.

The book started well, with a promising and interesting plot and likeable characters. I did enjoy and had fun reading the first few chapters. But somehow, the story became very slow, boring, and repetitive. I really liked Lucie's family and their interactions, but that was it. I felt like Aiden was immature, and I didn't like how he behaved/talked during s*x scenes.
