My review
★★★★★ (5/5)
Tales from the Café is the sequel to Before the Coffee Gets Cold and continues exploring the mysterious café where customers can travel back in time, as long as they follow the same strict rules.
Just like in the first book, the story is told through several different characters who each choose to revisit the past for their own reasons. Whether it is to see a loved one again, express feelings left unsaid, or find closure, every story carries its own emotional weight while remaining gentle and comforting.
What makes this series so special is the atmosphere it creates. These are the kind of books that feel incredibly cozy, perfect to read curled up in a blanket on a cold day, with a warm cup of coffee nearby. The café itself almost becomes a character in the story, a quiet space where people confront memories and emotions they thought they had left behind.
This book is, without a doubt, a wonderful continuation of the story. If you enjoyed Before the Coffee Gets Cold, this sequel keeps the same warmth and emotional depth, making it another comforting and heartfelt read.
