My review

★★★★☆ (4/5)

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt was a fun and cosy read. The story is told from two POV, and one of them is an octopus (how cool is that?!). He's super smart, super sassy, and the way he connects with the people around him is just so fun to read.

I loved the writing, and the whole book just feels like a big warm hug. If I could change one little thing, it would be having more of the octopus's POV (he's the real star here), and the story felt a bit predictable at times. So, there wasn't a lot of surprise. I personally like it when there's a plot twist. Actually, this was the only reason why I didn't rate it 5 stars.

Still, this book has so much heart. It made me laugh, think, and fall in love with an octopus. It's a perfect comfort read, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for something funny, sweet, and a little different.
